Rajitha predicts landslide victory for President

The
Minister of Construction and Engineering Services, Rajitha Senaratne
predicted a landslide victory for President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the up
coming presidential election and added that President Rajapaksa will
confidently poll 65% of the votes.
He said that Mahinda Rajapaksa won in 2005 without the Northern vote but this time he will win with the northern vote in a grand manner.
Addressing a media conference held at the Mahaweli Center in Colombo this week, he said that in the past all Presidential elections were held under the threat of the LTTE . But the next election will be held in a threat-free atmosphere.
Today Mahinda Rajapaksa commands the majority wish and support of the people in the country Minister Senaratne noted, adding that Rajapaksa will gain a resounding victory.
He called upon all people to rally round the Betel leaf and elect Mahinda Rajapaksa as the President a second time.
