Times of Lanka (www.timesoflanka.com) is looking for a driven and talented Digital Media Intern to join our editorial team for an exciting 12-month internship. This is your chance to grow as a journalist, build your portfolio, and contribute to a meaningful platform.
What You’ll Do
- Write 3–5 daily articles covering current affairs, politics, culture, society, and more.
- Conduct interviews, fact-checking, and research.
- Repurpose content for social media posts.
- Help with image sourcing and formatting content for publication.
- Collaborate with the editor to refine headlines and formats.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, or related field.
- Excellent Sinhala & English writing skills (Tamil a plus).
- Strong understanding of digital journalism and social media.
- Basic knowledge CMS tools is an advantage.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and deadline-oriented.
